Dine with Darth: Monroe's 'Character Dinners' Begin

MONROE, CT -- The Monroe Parks & Recreation Department will be hosting the 23rd annual character dinner series on Wednesdays this month at Great Hollow Lake. First up, on July 11, is everyone's favorite evil Sith Lord, Darth Vader, accompanied by a stormtrooper.

The dinner will run from 5:30 to 7 p.m. and also feature face painting and special guests to add to the festivities. The moonbounce will be available for $1.

Vehicle park sticker or vehicle entry fee ($5 per car/resident or $10 per car/non-resident) is required for lake admission.
