Driveway Contractor Had Long-Expired License: Monroe Police

He was arrested and charged with making home improvements without a license.

MONROE, CT — A home improvement contractor from Farmington was arrested Thursday in connection with a botched driveway paving job he performed in Monroe, the CT Post reported.

Patrick McCann, 29, was charged with making home improvements without a license. Bond was set at $10,000.

McCann allegedly bungled a driveway paving job, then was unable to be reached on numerous occasions by the homeowner. The license for McCann's company, JMP Paving & Masonry and Signature Paving, had expired about five years ago.
