Flag Day Food Drive To Benefit Monroe Food Pantry
Residents are invited to donate food and other needed items during a community collection event.
MONROE, CT — Residents will have an opportunity to support the Monroe Food Pantry during a Flag Day food drive this weekend.
The donation drive is scheduled for Sunday, June 14, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. outside Stop & Shop at 470 Monroe Turnpike.
Hosted by the Monroe Republicans, the event will collect food and other items needed by the Monroe Food Pantry. Organizers are encouraging residents to bring donations to help support local families facing food insecurity.

As a thank you, donors will receive either a commemorative America 250 flag or an American flag while supplies last.
