Forgery Arrest Made After Theft From Monroe Dunkin Donuts: PD

A woman is the latest person arrested after $4,000 was taken from the account of a Dunkin Donuts/Baskin Robbins in Monroe, police said.

MONROE, CT — A New Haven woman was arrested on forgery charges related to the theft of more than $4,000 from a bank account that belongs to the Dunkin Donuts and Baskin-Robbins on Route 25, according to police.

Diavonne Beamon, 30, and others cashed fraudulent checks on Aug. 10, according to the Monroe Courier. She cashed a check for more than $900. Two others have been arrested and police anticipate more arrests.

A total of 13 checks were signed and cashed.
