Former Monroe Town Employee Mindy Sue Kovack, 30, Died Peacefully
Mindy, a mother of 3 girls, was born in Danbury and raised in Newtown. She worked for the Towns of Newtown and Monroe in the tax office.

Mindy Sue Kovack, age 30 of Sandy Hook, died peacefully on Sunday, March 13, 2016 with her family by her side.
Mindy was born in Danbury and was raised in Newtown. She was the daughter of Scott and Lynn Kovack of Newtown and was the beloved mother of her three girls, Briana, Lexi, and Hannah. Mindy graduated from Newtown High School and went on to attend SCSU.
She worked for the Towns of Newtown and Monroe in the tax office for many years. Mindy cherished every moment spent with her three beautiful daughters and lived life to the fullest. Besides her parents and loving girls, Mindy is survived by her beloved brother Billy and his girlfriend Sara, grandparents Rosemary and Orvis Jones and William and Be Kovack, and many Uncles, Aunts, and cousins, along with her long-time boyfriend and father of their children, Justin, who she loved very much.
