Free Meals and Deals to Vets, Military on Veterans Day: The List
Across the country, businesses offer free or discounted meals and services to retired and active U.S. military personnel.

Dozens of businesses are offering free services and reduced prices to veterans on Veterans Day, Tuesday, Nov. 11, and, in some cases, beyond. Some require a military ID. The list is not comprehensive.
Great Clips: Veterans who visit the shops get a free haircut, or a redemption card for a free cut to be used by Dec. 31.

Applebee’s: The restaurant chain offers a special free menu for vets and active military members.
Chili’s: The restaurant chain offers a special free menu for vets and active military members.

California Pizza Kitchen: The restaurant chain offers a special free menu for vets and active military members.
Hooters: With any drink purchase, vets can get a free meal worth $10.99 on Veterans Day.
Starbucks: Tall brewed coffees are free to veterans and active-duty service members and their spouses on Veterans Day.
IHOP: Red, White and Blue pancakes are free to vets and active military members from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Bob Evans: The restaurant chain offers all-you-can-eat hotcakes for veterans and active military on Veterans Day.
Golden Corral: The restaurant chain observes Veterans Day on Monday, Nov. 17, with free dinner buffets from 5-9 p.m.
Bonanza Steakhouse: The steakhouse chain also moves its Veterans Day observance to Monday, Nov. 17, with free buffets for veterans and active military members.
24-Hour Fitness: Veterans and active military can use the health club through Nov. 11.
Red Lobster: The appetizers are free to veterans and active-duty military members Monday, Nov. 10, through Wednesday, Nov. 13.
Craftworks Restaurants & Breweries: Gordon Biersch Brewery, Rock Bottom, Old Chicago Pizza and ChopHouse & Brewery offer a free craft beer to active and retired military members on Tuesday.
Krispy Kreme: Those who are able to identify themselves as veterans or active duty military get a free doughnut and small coffee on Veterans Day.

Chuck E. Cheese: U.S. military vets and active-duty military get 20 free tokens through Saturday, Nov. 15.
Outback Steakhouse: Free Bloomin’ Onion and a beverage to all active and retired military personnel on Veterans Day.
Baskin Robbins: First Class Camouflage Ice Cream – a concoction of chocolate, salty caramel and cake-flavored ice creams – is the flavor of the month in honor of Veterans Day. In addition, the chain will donate 10 cents from ice cream scoops sold at all U.S. locations on Veterans Day to the United Service Organizations (USO).
Friendly’s: Free breakfast, lunch or dinner to veterans and active military on Veterans Day.
Cracker Barrel Old Country Store: On Tuesday, veterans get a free Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola Cake dessert. The restaurant will offer 10 percent of proceeds on the sales of the dessert to non-veterans.
Denny’s: Active, inactive and retired military personnel can build their own free Grand Slam breakfast from 5 a.m. until noon Tuesday at participating restaurants.
Champps: Veterans and active-duty receive a free handcrafted cheeseburger on Veterans Day.
Cheeseburger in Paradise: Complimentary All-American Burger and fries to veterans, active and retired military personnel on Tuesday. The deal applies to dine-in guests only and requires a beverage purchase.
Coffee Beanery: Fee tall cup of coffee all day on Veterans Day. Call ahead to make sure that your local Coffee Beanery is participating.
Ikea: Many Ikea locations are offering a free meal to veterans Nov. 9 – 11, 2014. Search for your local Ikea store, go to the store home page and select the “special offers” tab for details.
Lone Star Steakhouse: A free entrée on Veterans Day to active duty and reserves.
Longhorn Steakhouse: Service members receive a complimentary Texas Tonion appetizer and non-alcohol beverage on Tuesday, Nov. 11. Includes veterans and current service members
Olive Garden: All veterans and military active duty will receive a free meal from a special menu on Veterans Day.
On The Border: All veterans and active duty military get a free meal from the chain’s “Create Your Own Combo menu,” on Tuesday.
Pizza Factory: Free lunch special or a lunch buffet for veterans on Nov. 11.
