Hanukkah to be Celebrated in Monroe with Menorah Lighting
The ceremony, to be held at Town Hall, is open to the public and free of charge.

MONROE, CT — The Mishkan Israel Day Camp will be celebrating the Jewish festival of Hanukkah with the public lighting of a menorah on Wednesday, Dec. 5.
The ceremony, to be held at 6 p.m. at Monroe Town Hall, 7 Fan Hill Road, is open to the public and free of charge. It is the seventh year of the ceremony in Monroe.
There will be activities for children, light refreshments and musical entertainment.

Mishkan Israel operates a Stamford-based summer day camp, an outreach initiated in Bridgeport in 1945 by Rabbi Israel Stock and his wife as emissaries of Rabbi Yosef Schneersohn.
