The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:

The Pandemic has had a significant impact on our town’s educational system, including students, and staff and all members of our community. The Monroe Board of Education must continue to offer our students the best education possible in the safest environment we can provide.

Critical differences between me and my opponents:

With my 34 years of experience as a former Monroe teacher I bring a unique perspective to issues presented to the Board. My first-hand knowledge of how decisions made may impact students and staff on a practical level and allow for constructive discussions at the Board level.

Accomplishments:

I am running for reelection to the Board of Ed. I have been an active participant in subcommittees for union negotiations, school calendar, and interview and hiring of administrative positions and long serving member of policy committee.

Other issues:

My dedication to Monroe students is my reason to serve on this board. Any issue relevant to student health and safety and learning is of concern to me; I will champion causes to ensure our town continues to deliver the exemplary education for which we are known.

What else would you like voters to know about you?
