Judd Road to Re-Open After Week-Long Closure: Report

BREAKING: Clean-up efforts of a spill of over 1,500 gallons of oil closed Judd Road for more than a week.

MONROE, CT — Closed since last Tuesday, Judd Road will re-open Wednesday afternoon, reports the Monroe Courier.

Through traffic has had to avoid the road, which extended the closure from North Road in Easton to the Hattertown end of Judd Road. The road was closed due to an oil truck crash that reportedly spilled 1,700 gallons of oil in the area.

The Monroe Courier reports that there will still repairs to the road after it re-opens.
