Large Black Dog Who May Have Just Had Puppies Found Wandering Near Monroe-Newtown Line
A large black female dog was seen wandering on Hattertown Road in Newtown and she may have just had puppies.

A dog who may have recently had puppies was seen by Rose Santossio Brown over the weekend. She posted the following message to the Newtown Patch Facebook page on Saturday:
“This dog has been found in Newtown (near Monroe) in a residential neighborhood. Has been seen and fed for 2 days now. She appears to have recently had puppies - and the whereabouts of those puppies (if they do exist) is unknown. If you know its owner or any other information, inbox me and I’ll get you in touch with the people who know the dog’s whereabouts. They tried to get her but she is afraid of people approaching her. She was seen at the end of Hattertown Rd.”
Another woman who lives at the end of Hattertown Rd. near the Monroe town line told Patch that some of her neighbors saw the dog sleeping in a leaf pile and eating the food they left out for her, but she won’t allow them to approach her.
