Man Charged for Shed Burglary from Monroe Home
Police received complaint of the burglary on March 23.

A Hartford man was arrested in relation to a shed burglary on an Old Newtown road property in Monroe.
Police received complaint of the burglary of over $2,000 worth of power equipment on March 23.
Investigation led Monroe police detectives to a pawn shop in Bridgeport where they learned that the accused, Samuel Reyes, 45 had pawned the stolen items.

Bridgeport Police took Reyes into custody on March 25 after an arrest warrant was issued. He was subsequently taken to the Monroe Police Department.
Reyes was charged with third-degree burglary and fourth-degree larceny and given a $2,500 bond. He was held for arraignment on March 26.
