Man Facing DUI Charge in Monroe
The man's BAC was reportedly 0.243 at the time of his arrest.

A Bridgeport man is facing a DUI charge in Monroe.
Police received a complaint about a silver Volvo traveling on Route 25 on July 18 around 6:40 p.m. that then turned onto a side street.
An officer on patrol located the vehicle on Pepper Street and observed that the operator, later identified as Michael Brown, 28, was swerving from the right shoulder and centerline of the road, police said. Brown was stopped on Pepper Street at the intersection of Brook Street.

Brown failed standardized field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest, police said. His BAC was 0.243, police said.
He was charged with driving under the influence and failure to drive in the proper lane. Brown was given a $500 bond and a court date of July 27.
