
MONROE, CT —A man traveling through Monroe reported being robbed at gunpoint of $300 while in a vehicle Feb. 23, police said.
The victim and reported robber were driving from New Haven and stopped on Benedict Road, according to the Monroe Courier. The reported robber then displayed a handgun and took the money.
The victim walked to a nearby gas station and called police.
