Mary Elizabeth DeVivo, age 87, of Monroe, wife of James DeVivo, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2014. Born in Bridgeport and a resident of Monroe for many years, Mary is the daughter of Rose Packer, and the sister of Sister Irene Packer of the Order of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Mary was preceded in death by her mother Rose, her beloved Aunt Pauline Creevey, brothers James John Packer, John James Packer, and sister-in-law Grace Packer.

Mary is survived by her husband of 66 years, James DeVivo of Monroe, her son James John DeVivo of Monroe, and her daughter and son-in-law Carol and Paul Timpanelli of Trumbull, as well as many nieces and nephews.

The family will conduct Memorial Services on January 6, 2015, at St. Jude Church 707 Monroe Turnpike Monroe, at 10:00 A.M. There will be no calling hours.
