The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:
The most pressing issue in planning and zoning is the loss of retail stores because of the on-line shopping boom.
WE have and will continue to explore solutions such as mixed use and which is allowing apartments to be built along with commercial enterprises.
Critical differences between me and my opponents:
The other candidate has no experience in planning and zoning and I have a track record of accomplishments.
Accomplishments:
As conservation commission chairman I created an open space map and inventory with desirable parcels identified for preservation. I helped with the purchase and and development of the Webb Mountain Discovery Zone.
Under my leadership multiple businesses have moved to Monroe or expanded in Monroe.
Other issues:
Planning and Zoning Department is being streamlined and is moving applications online to make the process easier and less costly to develop properties.
What else would you like voters to know about you?
I have lived in Monroe for the past 18 years and will continue to give 100% to keeping Monroe a desirable place to Live and do business.
