Stress Less: A FREE Intro to Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and 8 Week Program at Unitarian Universalist, Danbury Monday, January 25th, 2015

Learn to live in this moment, not yesterday’s, not tomorrow’s.
Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is a method of using mindfulness meditation and gentle yoga, cultivating non-judgmental present moment awareness to reduce stress, pain and illness. You will learn to observe default reactions to life’s stressors and discover that you are at choice as to how to respond, instead of react, to daily challenges and stressors. Throughout the 8-week program these mindfulness practices are applied to everyday situations allowing you to connect more fully with yourself, loved ones, and every moment of the life you are living.
