Monroe Budget Vote: Unofficial Numbers
The Town of Monroe's budget referendum was held Tuesday. Find out voting results here on Patch.

MONROE, CT-- Monroe residents voted on Tuesday, April 5 either for or against the new proposed budget for the 2016-2017 fiscal year. The proposed increase in spending for Monroe is 1.71 percent for 2016-2017 and tax revenue of 1.57 percent.
Officials with The Town of Monroe said that the budget passed on the first time on Tuesday by 76 votes.

- 258 yes
- 261 no
Masuk vote
- 465 yes
- 401 no
First Selectman Steve Vavrek said, "Thank you all who took the time to vote today."
