Monroe Celebrates Start of Hanukkah on the Town Green

The Mishkan Israel Congregation also arranged for lightings in neighboring towns.

MONROE, CT — Residents as well as local dignitaries gathered in celebration of the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah at the Town Green in Monroe on Monday, Dec. 5.

The Mishkan Israel Congregation also arranged for lightings in Fairfield, Trumbull, Easton and Stratford, as well as here in Monroe, this week. It was the seventh consecutive year of the menorah lighting
