Monroe Crews Battle House Fire on Sheep Meadow Drive
First responders discovered that the fire had spread from the deck through a kitchen window into the interior of the home.
MONROE, CT — Firefighters from several local fire companies responded to a house fire on Saturday night.
At 7:45 p.m., crews from the Stepney, Monroe and Stevenson volunteer fire companies responded to a report of a deck fire at house on Sheep Meadow Drive. First responders discovered that the fire had spread through a kitchen window into the interior of the home.
The fire was "quickly extinguished," Stepney posted on social media.
