Monroe Farmers' Market Returns for 8th Season!

The Monroe Farmers' Market returns to the Town Hall Green on Friday, June 19 at 3:00pm with free entertainment and activities for kids!

Starting Friday, June 19 at 3:00pm, the Monroe Farmers’ Market returns to the Town Hall Green with the best local farm products that Connecticut has to offer. Our mission is to support producers of farm products in Connecticut and to provide members of the community with access to fresh, locally produced goods and healthy, seasonal foods. We raise awareness of issues such as recycling, sustainability and the local food movement through the sponsorship of weekly programs for children and adults. Bring your family, friends, and a blanket and enjoy free weekly entertainment on the green by the gazebo. The Monroe Farmers’ Market serves as a community gathering place where the simple pleasures in life are abundant!

For a special treat on opening day, visit our guest vendor Ferris Acres Creamery of Newtown, CT, for premium ice cream made fresh daily with milk from their very own cows.

This year we are excited to host more than 25 farmers and vendors!

Signing up is easy! Simply text mon124 to 54459 and you’re done! You “check in” by replying to a weekly text message with a passcode that you’ll find on FarmFan signage at the farmers’ market. Once you’ve collected 5 check-ins, you’ll get a token that you can redeem with many of our vendors for money off your purchase.

We gratefully acknowledge our market sponsors for their support. Aquarion Water Company, Beautycounter, Bull’s Head Printers, The Creative Music Center of Monroe, Koko FitClub, Newtown Savings Bank of Monroe, Next Step Living, and People’s United Bank of Monroe.
