MONROE, CT - Two unidentified employees of Axel Plastics Research Laboratories at 50 Cambridge Drivewere injured when a chemical fire broke out at the company Monday.
The employees were taken to St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport. The extent of their injuries was not reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by fire marshal and the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.
