Monroe Firefighters Battle Blaze at Industrial Facility

The Fairfield County Hazardous Incident Response Team was called in when firefighters realized what chemicals were stored at the plant

MONROE, CT — Firefighters responded to an industrial fire last week.

Around 9:30 p.m. Thursday, Stevenson and Monroe firefighters were called to an activated fire alarm at 1480 Monroe Turnpike, the location of a metal finishing industrial facility.
