Monroe Firefighters Extinguish Car Fire
The vehicle was destroyed but no one was injured in the fire.
According to Kevin Catalano of the Monroe Volunteer Fire Department, Monroe firefighters extinguished a fire involving a Honda SUV at the intersection of Wheeler Road and Monroe Turnpike on Saturday night. The driver reported having engine problems at about 9:45 p.m. and then seeing smoke and fire. The vehicle was destroyed but no one was injured in the fire.
