Monroe Man Dies in Motor Vehicle Accident in Ledyard

A Monroe man, John McGrenery, died in a motor vehicle accident in Ledyard Friday night, WFSB 3 reports.

Police say McGrenery may have had a medical episode prior to the accident which occurred on Route 214 between Spicer Hill and Lee Brook roads around 11 p.m., WFSB 3 reports.

A passenger was in the vehicle, Trudy McGrenery, who was transported to a local hospital for evaluation.

The accident remains under investigation.
