Monroe Massage Therapist Charged With 4th Degree Sexual Assault
Bruce Smith, licensed massage therapist and founder of Etheric Center in Monroe, was accused of touching a client inappropriately.
Monroe Police Lieutenant Brian McCauley said on Oct. 3 Bruce Smith, a Monroe massage therapist, turned himself in to the Monroe Police Department on a warrant.
Smith, 58, is a licensed massage therapist and Executive Director/ Founder of the Etheric Center, 731 Main St, Monroe. He was arrested Friday for Sexual Assault in the 4th Degree. According to Lt. McCauley, Monroe police conducted an investigation into an August 2014 complaint that Smith was touching a female client inappropriately during a massage at his studio.
Smith, from Rhinebeck, NY, was booked and charged with Sexual Assault in the 4th Degree and released on a $5,000 bond. He is due in court on Oct. 10, 2014.
