Monroe PD Charge Man with Sexual Assault of Minor
Police investigated a complaint from the mother of a 12-year-old girl who said that her daughter had been repeatedly sexually assaulted.

MONROE, CT — A man has been charged with repeatedly sexually assaulting a minor, the CTPost is reporting.
Police investigated a complaint from the mother of a 12-year-old girl who said that her daughter had been sexually assaulted by a a family acquaintance.
During a forensic interview, police said the girl told the interviewer that Wayne Fiddler, 36, of Lampson Street, Waterbury, had been sexually assaulting her at her home since she was four years old.

Police say that when confronted, Fiddler admitted to sexually assaulting a young girl years ago.
Fiddler was charged Friday with attempted first-degree sexual assault, illegal sexual contact with a minor, fourth-degree sexual assault and third-degree sexual assault. He was being held in on a $300,000 bond.
