Monroe PD Seeks Public Help to ID Man

UPDATE: Monroe police have issued a statement on Facebook that they have identified the man in the picture.

MONROE, CT — The police are seeking the public's help identifying a man who opened the garage door of a Barn Hill resident at approximately midnight Sunday morning.

The resident confronted the man, who said he was looking to use an outlet to charge his phone and call an Uber. The resident called police, but the man fled the scene before the police arrived, picked up by an unknown vehicle, police report.

Police are asking anyone able to identify the man to call 203-261-3622.
