Monroe Police Holding Food Drive To Benefit Town Pantry
The Monroe Police Department is holding a community food drive to benefit the Monroe Food Pantry on Nov. 12.
MONROE, CT — The Monroe Police Department is holding a community food drive to benefit the Monroe Food Pantry on Nov. 12, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Century Plaza (Big Y parking lot).
Residents, families and organizations can help the effort by collecting food, which MPD officers will then pick up at your house or business. Alternately, the food may be dropped off at the Police Department HQ at 7 Fan Hill Road, or at the Big Y lot on the day of the event. Turkeys, canned or packaged foods will be accepted.
