Monroe Police To Host A 'Night at the Park'

The Monroe Police Department is inviting residents and friends out for a "Night at the Park," Aug. 2, from 5-9 p.m.

MONROE, CT — The Monroe Police Department is inviting residents and friends out for a "Night at the Park," Aug. 2, from 5-9 p.m.

The park is Wolfe Park at 285 Cutler's Farm Road in Monroe, and the event is free. The PD is promising an evening of fun with them and other town first responders, with plenty of family-friendly activities.

The evening will include music, a foam pit, touch-a-truck, clowns, balloons, a bounce house, fishing and more.

National Night Out is a community-building initiative held each year "that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie," according to the national organization.
