Monroe Police Make Separate DWI Arrests over Weekend
One man was found asleep in the front seat of a car with the engine running.

In separate arrests, two Monroe men were charged with drunk driving over the weekend.
The Monroe Courier said Corey Schneider, 23, was pulled over Friday after his car was clocked going 63 in a 40-mph zone.
Police said they could smell alcohol on Schneider’s breath.

He was given a $500 bond to appear in court Nov. 23.
On Saturday, Ian Gingell, 24, was arrested after he was found passed out in the front seat of a car with the engine running.

Police said there was vomit on the ground near the driver’s side door, and they said the smell of alcohol was detected on his breath.
After waking him, police discovered his license had been suspended.
Gingell was given a $500 bond to return to court Nov. 24.
