Monroe Police Organizing 'Stuff the Gazebo' Toy Drive
The 'Stuff the Gazebo' toy drive will be held Dec. 10 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and benefit the Center for Family Justice in Bridgeport.
MONROE, CT — The Monroe Police Department will again host the Stuff the Gazebo Toy Drive on the Town of Monroe Green at 7 Fan Hill Road.
The toy drive will be held Dec. 10 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and benefit the Center for Family Justice in Bridgeport. The center serves those victims and families affected by abuse of domestic or sexual nature in the communities of Bridgeport, Easton, Fairfield, Monroe, Stratford, and Trumbull.
"At this time of year, many of the victims and their families in these communities have left abusive situations, often leaving the primary caregivers in need of financial assistance to provide gifts for their children during the holiday season," organizers said.
