Monroe Public Schools After School Activity Schedule Impacted By Snow Forecast

The Monroe Public Schools have made a change to the after school activity schedule due to the snow forecasted Tuesday in Monroe.

Monroe Public Schools have made a change to their after school activity schedule on Tuesday, Jan. 12, due to the snow expected this afternoon.

There will be no after school activities.

All evening activities are canceled as well.

“Due to the predicted weather this afternoon and evening, we are cancelling all sporting events and practices after 4 pm and parent conferences scheduled for Jockey Hollow Middle School/ STEM. Conferences will be rescheduled. Although this storm will not produce deep snow, the timing and the possibility of ice will impact travel during the commuting time and would likely require many conferences to be rescheduled,” they said in a statement.
