Monroe Republican Golf Tournament Tees Off Oct. 3

The 7th Annual Golf Tournament of the Monroe Republican Town Committee is set for Oct. 3 at the Whitney Farms Golf Course, open to all and again featuring a $25,000 cash prize for a hole-in-one on the par-3 12th hole, presented as a 235-yard challenge. The 18-hole tournament unfolds in a scramble-format with team and individual prizes, box lunch, buffet dinner and silent auction. Cost is $175 or $75 for dinner only. Sponsorships are also available. Frank Lieto is chairman of a golf committee also comprising Susan Ownes, Jeff Guttman, J.P. Sredzinski, Jim Weinberg and Marven Moss.
