The three scouts were sponsored by the Stepney Volunteer Fire Department.

MONROE, CT — Three members of Monroe’s Boy Scout Troop 62 sponsored by the Stepney Volunteer Fire Department were officially inducted as Eagle Scouts on Saturday at Saint Stephen Roman Catholic Church in Trumbull.

Steven Siveyer, 17, and Christopher Stead, 16, headed scout teams that made improvements in Webb Mountain Park, refurbishing the entrance signs, map kiosk, parking lot and Red Trail paths and footbridge. James Stead, 18, and his team renovated the Stepney Baptist church utility shed and fence surrounding the church garden that provided food pantry produce.
