Monroe Teen Honored For Getting Kids Out Of Burning House
Olivia Cross, 16, was babysitting two children when a fire started. She quickly got the children out and called 911.
MONROE, CT — A Masuk High School student was honored by firefighters after she got two children she was babysitting out of a burning house safely.
Olivia Cross, 16, was babysitting a 7 and 5-year-old in April when she smelled smoke and saw a blaze on the home's back porch, according to the Monroe Sun.
She woke the children up, got them outside and called 911.
