Monroe Town Clerk Offers Extended Office Hours for Absentee Ballot Voting on New Turf Field
The ballots are to vote on the appropriation of $1,700,000 for a new turf field at Masuk High School

The Monroe Town Clerk announced that extended office hours are available for those who qualify for absentee ballot applications for the March 8, 2016 Adjourned Town Meeting.

Hours of the referendum on March 8, 2016 are 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Monroe Senior Center located at 235 Cutlers Farm Road, Monroe.
Those that qualify are individuals who expect to be unable to appear at the required polling place during the hours of voting for the following reasons:
Active service in the armed forces of the United States; absence from the town during all of the hours of voting; illness; physical disability; religious tenets which forbid secular activity on the day of the referendum; duties as a referendum official at the polling place during all of the hours of voting.
Absentee ballots will be available on Tuesday, March 1, 2016.
The following are the extended office hours:
- Tuesday, March 1 through Thursday, March 3: 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Friday, March 4 from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.
- Saturday, March 5, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
