Monroe Town Council Awards Wolfe Park Concession Stand Agreement
Two local residents with a long history managing concession stands in the region were awarded a temporary license.
MONROE, CT — Romeo's Deli and Grill was awarded a temporary license agreement to operate the concession stand at Wolfe Park.
The agreement was passed at a July Town Council meeting. The agreement allows for an option to renew for the full 2020 season with an expanded menu.
Arielle and Mike Romeo are Monroe residents and have another operation in Shelton. They have 20 years of experience running concession stands, according to meeting minutes. They most recently ran the Jennings Beach stand in Fairfield.
