Monroe Voters Approve $96.7 Million Budget For 2022-23
The $96.7 million plan passed 917 to 706, according to unofficial results released by town officials Tuesday night.
MONROE, CT — Voters in Monroe have approved the 2022-23 budget.
The $96.7 million plan passed 917 to 706, according to unofficial results released by town officials Tuesday night.
The spending plan represents a 1.38 percent increase in taxes for the coming fiscal year. The proposal breaks down to $31.7 million in municipal spending, or a 0.57 percent increase over the current budget. Spending for the schools will increase by 4.75 percent, to $64.5 million.
