Monroe Woman Beaten To Death, Cops Investigating

The victim was identified as Jennifer Sredzinski, 41, of Windgate Circle, Hills of Monroe.

Monroe police are investigating the untimely death under suspicious circumstances of a Monroe woman.

On 08/25/2014, at 0616 hrs, the Monroe Police Department received a 911 call for an unconscious female lying in the roadway on Windgate Circle, located in the Hills of Monroe Condominium complex, Monroe, CT. This complex is comprised of approximately twenty five (25) two story buildings, each containing six (6) apartment style condominium units.

Upon arrival, the officers were directed to a female victim, lying on the road. The victim had sustained a head injury and was bleeding.

The victim was identified as Jennifer Sredzinski, 41, of Windgate Circle, Hills of Monroe. Jennifer Sredzinski received emergency medical care on scene. Due to her injuries, she was transported to Bridgeport Hospital for treatment. Sredzinski succumbed to her injuries on 08/28/2014. The case is being investigated as an untimely death under suspicious circumstances.
