Monroe Woman Found Dead Following Early Morning House Fire: Police
The fire at 8 Fox Run is currently under investigation by the State Fire Marshal's Office, the Monroe Fire Marshal and Monroe Police.
MONROE, CT — A Monroe woman has died in an early Thursday morning house fire.
Sheryl Lowman, 66, was found dead in her home at 8 Fox Run by first responders who received the call around 12:47 a.m.
Upon arrival, Monroe police officers and crews from the Stepney Volunteer Fire Department saw flames and heavy smoke coming from the east side of the house. The fire quickly spread to the rest of the house, according to Lt. Michael Sweeney of the Monroe PD.

The fire is currently under investigation by the State Fire Marshal's Office, the Monroe Fire Marshal and Monroe Police Detective Division.
