New Details Emerge on Monroe Man's Alleged School Shooting Threat: Report
Peter Jennings, 21, was arrested for making a reference to a school shooting on Facebook last week.

MONROE, CT — A Monroe man who sent the Monroe Public School system into a frenzy last week due to referencing a school shooting on social media was acknowledged to have a history of mental issues by family members, reports the Connecticut Post.
Free after posting a $25,000, 21-year-old Peter Jennings was arrested last week for referencing a school shooting on social media and charged with second-degree breach of peace. The Post report cites police who said that Jennings questioned what all the attention about when officers were sent to guard the schools following the alleged threat.

Police say that Jennings mother said she was aware of the posts and was going to take him to a doctor. Jennings is set to appear in court on Thursday.
