New Principal Named for Monroe-Shelton Catholic School: Report
The Diocese has combined three catholic elementary schools into one for the upcoming school year.

SHELTON, CT — The Diocese of Bridgeport has named a new principal of the unnamed new Catholic elementary school which consists of a combination of Shelton and Monroe schools that were forced to close, reports the Connecticut Post.
The former principal of the St. Gabriel School in Milford Gail Kingston, which is now closed, will take the reigns of the new school that consists of the St. Lawrence, St. Joseph and St. Jude schools. The Diocese announced on Feb. 3 that the three schools would be combined into one and move into the St. Lawrence building in Shelton.
The school will be renamed, and be led by an educator with over 26 years of experience. She earned a Bachelor's and Masters' degree in Education from Connecticut College and a certificate in administration from Sacred Heart University. She earned a doctorate in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University in Florida.
