Obituary: Carole K. Demont, 92 of Monroe

MONROE, CT —Carole K. Demont, age 92 of Monroe, died peacefully on Sunday, Dec. 30. Born in New York City, she was a Trumbull-Monroe resident for over 60 years.

Carole was a retired patient account manager for over 20 years for Park City Hospital. An avid traveler and reader who enjoyed her retirement.

Survivors include her son James Stamos and wife Maureen of PA, daughter Kali Dewey and husband George of Milford, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, her brother Dena Demont and wife Joan of Monroe, sister Dorothy Pappas and husband Nicholas of DE, several nieces and nephews.

The Rite of Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, Jan. 3, at 11 a.m. in Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 4070 Park Avenue, Bridgeport with Fr. Georgios Livaditis Presbyter officiating, followed by interment in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Fairfield.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday morning from 10 a.m. until time of service in the church. The Commerce Hill Funeral Home, 4798 Main St., Bridgeport has been entrusted with the services.
