Obituary: Donna L. Ontko Mastroni

Donna L. Ontko Mastroni, of Monroe, loving wife of Frank J. Mastroni Jr., died peacefully on Saturday, March 3, 2012, with her family by her side. Born in Bridgeport, on August 27, 1953, she was a daughter of the late William and Margaret Moskal Ontko.

Mastroni was the co-owner, along with her husband, of Five Star Motors, Inc. and had also owned her own floral design business. She also had many foster children from various countries around the world that she had supported.

In addition to her husband of 23 years Frank, survivors include her brother, David Ontko and his wife Diane of Southington, two aunts, Irene Moskal and Dorothy Mailloux and her husband Richard, her mother-in-law and caregiver, Ruby Mastroni, sisters-in-law, Bette DiNardo and her companion Robert Peslak and Charlet Allen and her husband Arthur, brothers-in-law, James and Robert Mastroni, two nieces, Marissa Ontko and Diana Frascatore and her husband Dennis, two nephews, Steven Ontko and Peter DiNardo and his wife Vicky. She will be sadly missed by her two Chihuahua’s Bumble Bee and Cooper.

Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at 9 am from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.  A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10 am in, 707 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe. Entombment will follow in the St. Monica Mausoleum in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
