Obituary: Ernest J. Reiner, 85, of Monroe
He was a devoted Dad who was loved by all; he will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Ernest J. Reiner, age 85, of Monroe, beloved husband of the late Roseann Zrelak Reiner, passed away on April 13, 2017. Ernest was born in Czechoslovakia to the late Steve and Elizabeth (Kolackovsky) Reiner, and has been a long time resident of Monroe. He was the former co-owner of Reiner Brothers Construction along with his late brother, Stephen. Ernest enjoyed spending time with his family, building, hunting and fishing, gardening and making kielbasa. He was a devoted Dad, who was loved by all; he will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Survived by his devoted children, Linda Scanlon, David Reiner, Joyce Carr and her husband Robert, Nancy Reiner and Michael Riganese,grandchildren, Shannon Scanlon, David Reiner, Christopher Scanlon, and Daniel Reiner, sisters, Elizabeth Norris, and Beatrice Leonard, sister in law Pauline Reiner, nieces, Lisa Almeida and her husband John, Paula Grams and her husband Bryon, and Rebecca Norris, nephews, Eric and Richard Norris, and grandnephew, Mark Almeida.
Friends and family may call on Tuesday, April 18th from 4-7 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford; with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. Interment will be private.
