MONROE, CT — The 2023 municipal election is heating up in Monroe and there are plenty of races with candidates eager to serve in elected office.

Commercial banker Nick Sentementes, 58, is running for election to the Monroe Board of Finance as a Republican. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance, and an MBA. He has a wife, two sons and a daughter.
