In 2012, the Rustic Grille was voted by Patch readers as the top place to eat breakfast in Monroe.

Among the comments favoring Rustic Grille at the time were:

Rustic Grille all the way. The ICON is back!! Way to go John and Sandy. — John R.

And the winner will now and always be John and Sandy’s RUSTIC GRILLE. I may not be able to get there any more, but I still remember the great food, the great people and great conversation. How I miss you, as always Cowboy or Tex or whatever. — Paul G. Littlefield
