Route 111 in Monroe is currently closed between Wheeler Road and Kettle Creek Lane due to two snapped utility poles, according to a message posted on the Town Facebook page.
The road is expected to be closed until midnight.
Eversource is currently on scene. If residents lose power in the immediate area, it will only be for a few minutes Eversource transfers wires and transformers.
