Renowned Demonologist Lorraine Warren of Monroe to Give 'All Hallow's Lecture' at Shelton High School

Lorraine Warren is a self-taught, self-proclaimed expert demonologist & founder of the New England Society for Psychic Research in Monroe.

Lorraine Warren, renowned ghost hunter, supernatural investigator and subject of the block buster film “The Conjuring” and the new movie “Annabelle,” will be giving a presentation with her son-in-law Tony Spera at Shelton High School.

Warren, a devout Roman Catholic, is a paranormal investigator and author who has researched and witnessed prominent cases of hauntings including the Amityville Horror. She and her late husband Ed claimed to have investigated over 10,000 hauntings during their career. Edward Warren passed away in August of 2006.

Along with her late husband, Lorraine is a self-taught, self-proclaimed expert demonologist. In 1952, the couple founded the New England Society for Psychic Research, located in Monroe, Conn. Mrs. Warren, 87, runs the Occult Museum in the back of her house in Monroe with the help of her son-in-law, Tony Spera who will also speak at the Shelton lecture on Oct. 24.

The “All Hallow’s Lecture” will be held at the Shelton High School Auditorium, 120 Meadow Street, Shelton, on Friday Oct. 24 at 7 p.m. Refreshments will be sold prior to the event. Tickets are $15 for adults and $13 for students to be purchased at the door beginning at 6:30 p.m.
