Reported Illegal Activity In Monroe Massage Parlor Leads to Prostitution Arrest

Two New York women were arrested after a yearlong investigation into reported illegal activities inside a Monroe massage parlor.

The investigation included surveillance and undercover operations with individuals posing as customers.

According to police, numerous internet postings described illegal sexual activities occurring inside Monroe Healthy Massage, located at 838 Main Street on Route 25. A police investigation corroborated that prostitution activity was allegedly taking place at the establishment and a search and seizure warrant was obtained for the business.

Members of the Monroe Police Department Detective Bureau, Statewide Organized Crime Investigative Task Force and an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (Homeland Security) Agent, executed a Search Warrant at Monroe Healthy Massage on July 15 around 3 p.m..

Police seized business records, equipment used in connection with prostitution, all recorded video from the parlor’s video recording systems and $ 1,100 in cash.

Police arrested the following individuals:

Lian Hua Song, 36, of 37-45 Parson Blvd. Flushing, NY

• Charges: Prostitution, Unlicensed Practice of Massage Therapy
• Bond: $1,500.00 Court Date: July 23, 2015

Jin Meilua, 50 of 14450 38th Ave. Flushing, NY

• Charge: Unlicensed Practice of Massage Therapy
• Bond: $500.00 Court Date: July 23, 2015

The Monroe Police Detectives will continue their investigation, which will include viewing of the parlor’s internal video recordings and business records for possible identification of both prostitutes and patrons.
